I just installed my 2.6 mod chip and the xbox was fragging. I examined the solder points and everything looked fine. I then sucked solder off and noticed that there was no solder pad by the RP74 which is connected to pin 12. Is there an alternate solder point or maybe a way to fix this?

Note to everyone. My XBOX v 1.6 was fragging. We tried resoldering new pcb board and everything. That is when i noticed that solder pad. Turns out that solder is not the only thing that causing fragging (reset 3 times lights etc). The problem was a bad switch. This was the xecuter 2.6 chip that had the bad switch. Luckily we had a spare switch. I am pretty sure this can be a problem on the xecuter 3 switch too. So if you are pulling out your hair and think everything is right check the switch.
Thats for sure. We thought surely it would be the solder but i guess we were better than we thought. LOL

If you do suspect an X3 switch, then just remove it. The X3 doesn't need it to boot anyway.
