solder points on x3?

ive been trying to find some direct connect spots on the x3 (lifted contacts on the chip) then i noticed exactly 16 solder points along the edge the lcd connector is on, then on the underside... there is writting...
what r these 16 solderpoints for? are they the same 16 points the lpc uses?

Go buy a new chip and don't mess with the new one!

I don't follow - maybe you should show a picture. Unless you have completely different Xbox then it will all fit.

im trying to mount the chip below the clear jewel, to show my pride for team Xecuter

i had it working fine with the wire install using 1ft wires but when i tried to upt the case on... i noticed it wouldnt fit cuz of the depth of the wire header... so i dismantled the wire header to try to maske it fit, still didnt quite fit, and 1 of the pins broke off inside a socket, so i realized using the socket was now no longer a choice.... so i removed it

ok, I can see what you're trying to do.

It really isn't worth the bother - the chip is best installed as instructed.

the 16 solder points on the side of the chip with the writing below are not LPC points dont even do that sh*t.....that is for the LCD screen if u wanted to hardwire the connector for the LCD.....come on 16 points? now how many does the LPC have.....ya thanks :roll:

lol I know where you're going with this, but the LPC is 2x8 rows on the X3.... Making it 16 solder points...
