GENERAL Soldering Iron and Solder

I'm looking for a bit of advice on purchasing a new Soldering Iron, Solder and extras.

I've been looking at the gas powered Irons on eBay but was concernend they'd be too hot etc

Could someone recommend one and maybe PM a link?

Any help would be great!

No, the normal pointed one should be fine.

i like the pencil tips. there great for soldering anything

I use a 15w 1/2 mm pencil tip iron I got dirt cheap and it's great for every thing Inc kamikaze unlock and jtag
