Soldering rca for dd

hi all,

soldered a rca out for dd using the tut from xbox-scene.

although i have a 1.4 mobo it was pretty much the same.

soldered everything in place and it does work but only for pro logic not dd.

i have checked in the settings a dd is enabled and i know the amp is set right.

just wondered if any one had any ides really before i start pulling my hair out.

i just did this install on my v1.0, is there some settings i need to adjust some where?also can i use just a regular rca cable( red or white) or do i have to buy a coax rca cable. thanks benthome and everyone else in advance

alright i bought my coax cable and happy to say everything is working great.
benthome these are my audio settings in xbmc:
audio output set to digital and everything else checked, with the exception of, 2 channel PCM passthrough. hope this helps
