You cant be serious? its a 2 minute job even with a £5 iron it takes no skill.

Thanks for the offer, I was hoping not to have to post it.
I wasn't really confident in my soldering abilty. I dug out my old soldering iron and had a practice and realised it wasn't getting hot enough and things didn't look too great.
So I though it was a great excuse to pay someone as it was to pay for a new iron

i live in huddersfield mate not too far from you
maybe ur iron isnt heating up enough because of oxidisation (sorry for the gramma still high from the operation meds lol)
is the tip black if so clean it with fine sand paper and use flux too mate
lemmi know if u want it soldering back up

I think at this point you should be making a suggestion as to how you are going to get the PCB to Bandit so he can help you :rolleyes2:
