Soldering/Wiring Help Please Falcon

Hi all,

I have now messed up 2x JTAG Qsb boards, by melting off the the solder pads from the JTAG Chip.

I have managed to install the 2x nand-x parts and have read the NAND several times with no problems. YAY.

My question is:- With the Jtag kit #2 it comes with a socket with Red and Yellow Wire with 2x diodes on.

If I do away with the QSB and cut the socket off the end of the two wires, can i then follow this wiring quide?

Are the diodes the correct type? Do i need to solder the yellow wire to the location in the attached picture or can i use the solder point on the ROL?

If this won't work, is the someone in the UK that can finish the installation, I am pretty sure all the solder points on the xbox are ok with no damage.

Thanks, Can you confirm that the diodes that come with kit # 2 (red and yellow wire) are of the correct value. (they look the same as the pictures in the post you suggested.

Also, I have ruined the QSB, so do i just bridge J2D2.4 and J2D2.7 as the picture in the link from my original post?

Why wouldn't they be ? of course they are correct.
