solderless adapter question

i know i asked this before and i have looked everywhere but i still feel like no one has a real legit answer to my question. cheapdealer is claiming that Xapt3r will work for 1.6+ but other dealers states that it will not, so what is the real answer to this question. plz respond only if you know the answer for sure, i dont want comments because you just want to input your 2 cents in. will this Xapt3r only work on the 1.6+ if you solder the lpc bridge (1.6 Rebuild PCB )? which to me defeats the no solder idea if you did. i appreciate your time if you have correct solution to this question.

Simple..the xapt3r will not work for a 1.6 or 1.6b..
a few reasons
1) the LPC LADS (Latched Address and Data) points are not carried to the Pin header so would have to be rebuilt.
2) even if rebuilt the 5V pin 6 is present and you will not be able to disable your chip as you need the alt 5V point for this.

given that you would have to modify the xapt3r pins ,solder the LPC rebuild and solder the LAN, HDD Leds (if you need them ) & D0 point then there is not much left in benefit from being solderless.

You get all you need shipped with the x3 to either do a wire or header install and if you take your time and solder carefully will give you an excellent result.
