I've got a Xenium ICE chip with a solderless adapter and want to get an X3. I have a 1.4 and i'm wondering whether I can use my current solderless adapter?? I'm assuming I would still have to wire up my LAN and HD points. Or should I just wait for Xapt3r to come out?

Thanks heaps

if you have a 1.4 xbox, then you would be better off soldering it. Especially if you are going to solder the lan and hd.

P.S.

I bought a 15-Watt iron with the smallest replacement tip radio shack had in stock. The size of the tip is: lenght 0.7. I think by getting the smallest tip they had, it really helped out a lot. Also you might want to buy some tip tinner and cleaner.

I hope this helps! Good luck.
