Hi,

recently I aquired a lot of old 360's (ROD's), so chances are high some of them are JTAG'able.

So this solderless addon for NAND-X could come in pretty handy now, for the sake of (my) time .

I havn't saw it anywhere son sale, so I'm asking if this great addon is still underway ?

Thanks,
iCEQB

If the solder-less option is not made available, you can always buy this.

Use the quick solder boards (QSB) with the nandx and alt points. if you can touch your nose with your finger then you should be able to do the job.

no there is no solderless option and tbh i think it would be a waste of time cause the solderless option was for nand reading only so you would still have to solder the jtag part. learn to solder.

It is not about soldering skills or even lazyness. It's about speed. If I have a rrod box on my table I would use a solderless nand reading tool (if there was one) to dump nand and check cb as fast as possible.
I know I would need to solder the jtag wires later, but if I found out the the CB was unexploitable I would prefer to just unclip a solderless solution and quickly move on to the next one, rather than to have to desolder.

I know what many of you aswer to a statment like that.
It is only seven wires, it takes like under a minute to desolder... And you are right. But if I had the option to skip soldering all together in the "verifying CB stage" and just clip on a dongle and dump, I could dump like five or even ten boxes in a row in a line by just unclip and move the solderless dongle from box to box.
So in the end it's about speed and not about soldering skills.
