Solderless?

I just ordered the Xecuter3 CE w/ 1.6 PCB from Modchipstore.com...do I need to also order the xapt3r adapter to make it solderless? or does the adapter come with the chip? I -thought- I read somewhere Team Xecuter always gives you all the connection stuff you could use for -every- installation, but I'm not sure and I don't trust myself to solder

Ah...it would probably help if I mentioned I have a v1.0 xbox, which I hear makes solderless a lot easier.

You need to buy an xapt3r for it. Xecuter includes all the stuff you need to install... IE the rebuild board. The xapter is an addon.

You can buy the Xapt3r and install it since you have a 1.0. For 1.6 boxes, however, a solderless installation is non-existant due to the LPC rebuild. That 1.6 PCB that comes with your chip is also of no use to you- be sure you don't use it

So are they thinking about doing a solderless option for the 1.6? Coz i have one and not very good at soldering.

I don't think that will be happening anytime soon due to points that must be used for the 1.6 rebuild. Honestly, the soldering is not that difficult even for a novice. You can always take apart an old radio or whatever and practice. Good luck..
