XAPT3R is for v1.0-v1.5. It can help you on your lpc. you will still need to solder the do points. LAN AND HDD are optional.

no you do not have to solder the d0, i has a spring wire to connect it to the top side of the board.

Is this adapter suppose to be out before Christmas? I don't need it but it seems like it would be useful for some of my buddies future mods!

Solderless has issues with 1.0-1.5. Bad connections, possibly shorting the board. I can't believe there will be a 1.6 solution. More points to hit.

i havent heard of any solderless issues, explain yourself :p
I have a few friends w/solderless and every once and a while they have to re-align to get things working or hit the box, etc.

ah yes, well that is true among pretty much ALL solderless solutions. however, i had an Xbit 1.5 installed in my xbox and i've only had to realign the pins once in the 8-12 months that its been installed. and that time was right after i installed it, then i corrected it, and havent had any problems since. if you install the solderless solution correctly, i dont imagine you would have too much of a hassle using it, unless of course you throw your xbox around.

Halo 1 backup on xbox 360 (iXtreme 1.66)

Hi all,

Before I buy Halo Reach I was thinking of playing through all the previous Halo games as a bit or a refresher (yes, I have way too much spare time right now).

I wanted to play on a backed up version of my xbox 1 game and I haven't tried it before so I thought I would give it a go.

I have made the backup of Halo Combat Evolved (PAL version) to play on my xbox 360 (using a sammy flashed with iXtreme 1.66).

I burnt the iso to a dual layer disc using imgburn and setting the correct layer break for a xbox 1 game (1913776).

The game appears on the dash board correctly BUT when I load the game I get the following error:

x : 2689.0 B : 1884.0

Saying the game is not compatible.

What am I missing / not done? I've done a bit of reading and as far as I can tell I've done all I should correctly. I did read something about perhaps changing the video settings to a lower res as the game would not be compatible.

Do I need to do anything to the iso or run a form of stealth or patch on it?

Any ideas / tip would be greatly welcome.

Thanks in advance!

Sorry mis-typed it (iXtreme 1.61, the one before LT) but I am sure you must have worked that out for yourself.

Also, correct me if I am wrong, but I am sure Halo is one of the games that is compatible and is on the xbox list of compatible games.

This is why I was trying as I already new it 'should' work.

You say you have the PAL version of Halo? This will only work on a PAL Xbox 360. Do you have a PAL Xbox 360 or is your console JTAGed and set to PAL or region free?

Could also be a problem with the ISO file itself. You can try a program on it such as XbeFix.

Maybe try reburning it at a lower speed (2.4x is recommended).

I remember I got a backup of Halo 2 off xbox360iso.com and it worked fine.

Re: Halo 1 backup on xbox 360 (iXtreme 1.66)

As far as I am aware I have the update as the org xbox 1 discs work (Sega soccer slam for example) so I am assuming its not that or they will not work.

I think it must be the iso becasue I have burnt the disc at 2.4x (like I would for my 360 games).

I will try getting the repair stuff on it and see if that helps. I am having a hard time finding them, anyone know where I can download them and if XbeFix or XDVDMulleter is the way to go?
