  • Console Type: Trinity
  • Programmer Used: NAND-X
  • NAND Size: 16
  • Dashboard version: 2.0.16203
  • CB Version: 9231
  • Screenshot of NAND details from J-Runner: http://i.imgur.com/8EP5LQa.png
  • J-Runner log: (see below)
  • updflash.bin log (N/A)
  • Image of the CR4 XL: http://i.imgur.com/iIGWKlj.jpg
  • Images of close-up soldering to motherboard: (see previous pic)
  • Detailed Description of the Problem: cannot get console to boot. tried over 10 cycles each of these combinations (dips 3-4 on & off / 0-10-100 ohms).
  • Was the console working before you started: Y
  • Do you get a green debug light appear on the CR4 XL chip every 4-5 seconds: Y
  • How long is the light on for each time: about 1 second, seems like the normal flashing rate i've seen on working systems.

trim your wires as short as possible and try setting the postbit jumper on the 10ohm - also play with the dips
3+4 on rest off
3 on rest off
4 on rest off

Re: cr4 flashing, not even one boot for dvd key retrieval, wiring pics

solved! i cut the wires short and got it to boot several times in a few cycles. thank you very much, i will make sure to try that first next time.
