Hello There,

I have been lurking around reading posts for the past few weeks, and I think I have most all the information that I need. Thanks to all who have contributed, for the info is great here.

I was just wondering if you all could tell me if I'm doing this right (as I don't want to mess up my box)

I have an X-box v1.1, with an X2.6CE on the way here

So..in regards to flashing,
I have the 5032 bios, and the Flashbios v3.03
1) I install the 5032 on banks 1&2; FB v3.03 on banks 3&4 using X2 Bios Manager; name file BIOS.BIN
2) Burn to an .iso (w/dummy file)
3) Turn off flash protection; switch to bank 1
4) Insert disk (after chip installed), and flash
5) Turn on flash protection

My only questions that I'm vague about is the config.ini file. Do I need to do anything with this initially? or just if I need to make changes to the bios? Also,to add this to the root file (F:), I'm assuming I do this through ftp..let me know if I'm wrong on this.

The config file is not needed, unless you want to change something.
and yes it geos of E:\ or F:\
