ANSWERED Some questions before reflash (Still on previous dash)

My Xbox hasn't been online since before the latest dash, and is still on LT+2.0, so I have a few queries before I do anything.

1.Before updating to the latest dash, should I reflash to stock, even though people aren't reporting any ill effects?

2.Is it ok to flash straight from LT+ 2.0>LT+ 3.0 without updating to the new dash first?
