Hi guys, I've just got my xbox modded by a friend of a friend of a friend, you know how this works... And were I live (Portugal) it's very difficult to find someone who do this so I took the oportunity with no questions asked. Now, my problems are, I don't know wich chip he used, in the screen apears the normal MS logo and under it "Xecuter2", so here am I on Xecuter forum! 
But I don't know wich version! Behind the xbox there aren't any bank selectors as I've seen in pics in this forum. To be true I don't know if it will do anything for me to know the version. My xbox is a v1.3 or v1.4 (2002 I think). The dashboard is the normal MS, but I want more from my machine, I want XBMC as 2nd dashboard (it looked the best to me), connect it to pc, some old games emulator, etc. So what I have to do to have this? I read so many tutorials that it melted my brains, I can't install a dashboard because I don't have a pc connection (MS dash don't let me right?), I'm afraid to mess with the bios because I don't know how to change the bank, so I don't want to loose the "backup plan".
It seems to me it's the only way, but, and if the bios is protected? Searching the net I found "auto-installer deluxe", it will work for me? It's one good solution?
