This looks like great news. Makes me want to get rid of all my phats and buy slims now. I wonder if this means the sputnik hack is going legacy?

The Sputnik hack is used on Lite-On D4S drives with MXIC SPI so it will still be used by those that choose not to purchase this new PCB.

I figured as much and I'm sure the D5S and Hitachi 0500/0502 drives will have their own drive key retrieval methods in JungleFlasher - just like every other drive

With Team Xecuter's official annoucement today of the associated products (CR3 and CR3 Pro-DGX), we're now Publicly ble to Clarify That, Contrary to year Earlier statement made by c4eva on 2012-08-19 , RGH (Reset Glitch Hack) is in fact required for DVD Key retrieval from all newer drives, Lite-On 1175/1532 DG-16D5S, and Hitachi 0500/0502 DLN10N.
To break it down a bit, the thesis are DVD retrieval RGH Key requirements:
DVD Key retrieval from Lite-On 1175/1532 DG-16D5S is 2.0.14XXX.0 kernel or lower, Requires CoolRunner Rev. A / B / C, CR3 Lite, Pro or CR3 (Slim version).
DVD Key retrieval from Lite-On 1175/1532 DG-16D5S is 2.0.15XXX.0/2.0.16XXX.0 kernel and higher, Requires Pro CR3 (Slim version) + CR3-DGX.
DVD Key retrieval from Hitachi 0500/0502 on DLN10N 2.0.14XXX.0 kernel or lower, Requires CoolRunner Rev. A / B / C, CR3 Lite, Pro or CR3 (Slim version).
DVD Key retrieval from Hitachi 0500/0502 on DLN10N 2.0.15XXX.0/2.0.16XXX.0 kernel and higher, Requires Pro CR3 (Slim version) + CR3-DGX.
The DGX-CR3 is an add-on That connects to the CR3 Pro and aids in CPU / DVD Key retrieval systems are updated for 2.0.15XXX.0/2.0.16XXX.0 kernels and higher. Until now, systems thesis Were Unable To Have Their keys retrieved by normal means clustering due to Microsoft's thwarting of the "XOR hack" as of the update 2.0.15572.0, Which added a new key to the RC4 key hash calculation. Unlocked With the new DVD Replacement PCB, LT Ultimate, and now Team Xecuter's other newly-Introduced products, all 360s can now be RGH'd and all DVD drives can be flashed - a truly momentous points in stage Xbox 360 history!
