I flashed cromwell 3.03 / 5035 on v 1.0 xbox yesterday, chip 2.6ce, banks 1 and 2 respectively. chip was working before flash. I did get xecuter rox by box to load yesterday on bank 2 and cromwell loaded on bank 1. I had to reboot a bunch of times to get bank 2 to load because i couldn't get video to come up a lot of times. Well I was preparing to backup my hardrive so i deleted a bunch of gamesaves and music i had on the box. After that, i loaded slayers 2.7 boot disk, but did not do anything with it, just made sure it worked and shut off my xbox and went to sleep.
Today i wanted to continue where i left off but i cannot get bank 2 to load, it just has a blank screen. When i try to load bank 1 it frags. Is there some kind of trick to get the video to load consistently, or is my box totally f'ed up? I'm worried i deleted somthing when i deleted the gamesaves. The MS dash boots with the chip disabled. I'm using the regular AV cables. i took the chip out already and redid all plugs and put back in, no help. Any ideas?
