Hi I have nand x saying
Looking for usb device cannot continue

1 I have installed/uninstalled/reinstalled drivers it shows in device manager

2 soldering is not the prob I have tested on three consoles all the same



3 power brick attaches amber on brick

4 it will program coolrunners

Please help tried reset button???
Any ideas

I had the same issue. Ordered a new nand x and worked just fine. I was lucky my old nand x was still under warrenty so now I have 2.

I am exactly in the same boat here - i am getting third nandX programmer. First ended after installation of several coolrunners (suddenly "can not continue problem"), ordered second and got interface problems from the start.
Tried all hints from topics here, soldering is not a problem, using the same mainboard with already installed qsb i did with the same NandX, tested on several other boards, drivers installed fine, both lights on,coolrunner programming interface work but nand - no joy.

There is probably something in process we are not allowed to do and that step will destroy NandX nand interface.Any clues what this might be ? I do all coolrunner programming outside the console before actual installation if this is relevant.

Dunno how to continue,new one is on way to me and if it is PEBKAC i dont want to kill another piece.

I know you think a going to lie to you but I will take a pic if you want but with slims I get the verry same error

Solution.(at your risk)
Swap the blue and green wire around.

Like I said phat I don't have a problem but slims I put blue closest to CPU rather than green
I have checked all pics and my wires are correct in the hedder that goes to nand x weird eh !!!

I also ordered a new nand-x. I talked to a nother local modder I know, he had a similar issue where his stopped flashing glitch chips, clearly a quality issue with the nand-x.

One thing I'd like to understand is if this is user caused. If we're doing something wrong it would be nice to know so we don't repeat the same error. Unfortunately it seems it's difficult to get support for the nand-x, I'm guessing that's due to so much focus on the demon.

I have yes its like it on all slims it only works when I reverse the blue and green weird ea?? Phats work as normal lol
