Hello!
I have tried to dump the nand of a falcon board but it has proven impossible up till now. I compared the voltages to the Nand X troubleshooting guide and the pad straight from the southbridge was very low. I checked a lot using JR Programmer v2 but the flash config always came 0x00000000. So will it be possible that the replacement of the southbridge will fix the nand read problem ?
If so, then I have another problem, the spare board which I have has a different number written on the southbridge chip. I took the pictures. This one is for the original chip :

And this one is the spare board from which I intend to take the chip:

You can see the writing is different in the second last line. I want to know if anyone has done this before and what results. The thing is that the console works. I just want to RGH it.
Thanks in advance

Both are X02047-027 so just go ahead. The other numbers could be batch related etc.

I also thought that but wanted to confirm

Do you think that replacing the southbridge would allow me to read the nand ? Also what temperature should I use to lift the chip ?

Yeah, that should fix it. I've seen that issue quite a few times with falcons. To swap the southbridge, you will need to at least get a little hot air rework station and you could probably get it to work out for a small chip like that, and be sure to follow a profile.

Might be a good idea to give it to someone near you with a good BGA setup to change out the SB if you don't have the equipment to do it

I have a good setup for replacing it but I just wanted to confirm that someone had tried it before with a good result. Anyways, thanks for the replies. I'll change the chip and then tell you guys the result.
