Hey guys,
I was just looking at xbox-scene.com and they had a preview of the SpiderChip solderless modchip.
Although the solution uses wires which probably is not the best contact for a chip - it should work to a certain extend and you definately can't mess up your xbox with solder, so the worst case scenario.. the thing just doesn't work.
I realize that the quality of thing is probably crap compared to X3... But what with X3 is so much better? I mean I can't even get a 1.6b compatible X3 chip right now because no one wants to reflash them with the correct version. There isn't a solderless solution for the 1.6b yet, I am aware that it's comming, but the fact that i wont be getting any games because I'm getting a modchip does factor in time. I wouldn't mind being ABLE TO USE MY XBOX sometime soon.
So it's easier to install, cheaper, and I can get it now instead of a month from now. What's worth it with the X3 to get that instead?
