Split/Vid setting wrong in ABGX???

Hey Guys:

I just noticed this and don't know what the setting does or how it might be a flag for MS Live. It was set to "Leave it the way it is". I have changed it to "Add it if it doesn't exist or isn't valid".

I just signed my son up for Xbox live and I am just wondering what the setting does.
