HITACHI NON-79 spoofed and cant get it un-spoofed

i spoofed my hitachi 78 to a benq vad6038 and now i cant revert it back 2 original firmware can anyone tell me what 2 do?

Treat the drive as a Hitachi - put the drive into Mode B and use the Restore to Stock option under the Hitachi tab. You will need the full firmware pack in order to revert the drive back to stock Hitachi firmware.

Have you got the firmware pack? Parse failed usually means that JungleFlasher cannot find the required files.

yes and i put all the stock firmwares in the firmware folder of jf

You haven't renamed or edited the files in any way have you?

no its the same the file is named Stock firmware

Download the firmware pack again, you can find the Hitachi stock firmwares in the "Firmware" folder in the archive. Extract all of those files into the JungleFlasher>Firmware directory and you should be fine.

after entering mode b let it sit for a bit 15-30 seconds and wait for computer to find it. you are getting parse failed because the hitachi drive was never detected in jf. Hitachi drives are completely different than any other drives and special processes are needed for them. Are you using the unlock cd?

The Unlock CD isn't needed for v78 drives, only for v79.

i downloaded the firmwares again and still the same thing. no im not using the unlock cd. and jf wont even let me read the drive this is what my jf log is when i try 2 dump the drive

Is 78/79 selected? It would appear that you are trying to dump the drive as a 32/40.
