Spoofed drive need a bit of help

Right Ive got a preflashed xbox with 1.6 I think. Now Ive got the usbpro and ck3i with probe etc and thought Id have a go at flashing a different xbox with 3.0 all went well (I think) but it didnt read my old back ups none of which are the latest games but old ones so I thought that because the xbox was flashed it would still read these old ones but I was wrong after a lot of reading I came to the conclusion that its down to the laser not coping with all theses extra security checks so I tweeked the pots to no success..... to put a long story short is Ive messed up with the lasers from this xbox and my old 1.6 flashed version so I thought I would simply get another Benq drive which the 1.6 version has and simply flashed the dvd key to it and away I go (well I hope thats what i do) but after hooking the 1.6 version drive up it appears its being spoofed as a gdr 3120l drive so my question is who what where when?
I need to get the key from this drive so I can flash to another benq drive but dont know how I should be going about it :rolleyes2:
Any help would'nt go a miss :redface:

well just read the drive as normal and dump the drive kry then flash the drive with ofw and the key u are going to use it with then dump the drive again and flash with lt 3.0 and the drive key but the xbox u are putting the drive in to must be the same a the drive u are replacing it with.

before I do something Doh!
when you say read the drive as normal do i treat it as it is a benq drive?
i.e press the unlock benq button

I dont want the new drive to be flashed I just want it stock for the time being so I take it I can flash the original key (when i get it) to a new drive

I see a lot of spoofing isnt supported does that mean in this forum or in jungleflasher ? as Im not bothered about going online so would like to use a benq but if thats not possible any more I've got a Hitachi one

You need to read the key from you original drive, the way it shows you in the jungleflasher tutorial or here for your specific drive that you are reading it from.

So if it's an Hitachi, read the key like an hitachi
If it's a Benq, read the key like a benq.

Save the key.

Now you need to attach the drive that you are replacing it with.

So if you are replacing it with a Benq, load the benq firmware in the target firmware box and flash like a benq, and then manually spoof the key to it that you got from the original drive

If you are flashing your original key to an hitachi, then you need to load the hitachi firmware in the target box and then manually spoof the key across.

It is not that Jungleflasher or the forums no longer support spoofing, it is M$ that no longer supports spoofing. You can have any drive in your 360, and it will work, but updates will fail everytime unless you have the drive inside that you was meant to have. Live will probably detect your drive difference and issue a ban.

Im back to semi stock xbox still got a spoofed drive :rolleyes2:

had to spoof drive at same time as flashing as a warning came up saying are you really sure you want to do that:facepalm:

Now on to my next mission flashing the other one from 3.0 back to stock it's a lite on and Ive got the key and dummy file so I might be back :facepalm:
