HITACHI NON-79 Spoofing a 47D as a 78

Im having trouble trying to spoof LT 2.0. The console is never going to be on xbox live so I had a spare 47D drive lying around as the 078 from the console had packed up. I managed to spoof it to stock firmware ok so but when I try to spoof it with LT plus I keep on getting Master Checksum dont match return to stock first etc etc error.

Ive returned it to stock as per what the dialog box says but when I try and spoof to LT 2.0 I get that error message. Ive read through the entire jungleflasher tutorial and nothing seems to indicate where Im going wrong. Anyone got any ideas please guys.

1. restore to stock.
2. flash LT2.0
3. manual spoof.

That's it, all within the Hitachi tab.

Thanks Martin tis sorted and done now much appreciated, however when using an XGD3 backup Im getting the single red light in bottom right similar to the error with the 079s. Not sure what thats about is it because its spoofed??

Yuppers. XGD3 games throw E66 with spoofed drives.

Why not just move the pcb from the old drive into the new? Then no need to spoof
