Hi All

Im hoping someone can help me.

I have modded many 05 Winbonds using dremel kamikaze but struggling on MXIC using Sputnik360 Probe.

I have my dummy.bin so now have cut my single trace as shown in the tutorial and my multi metre no longer is beeping between the 2 via's so cut done.

I now intro /device ID my drive and power cycled to to get into vendor mode. I then hit 0x8C to send SPI unlock Yes. I then probe using only the sputnik360 but nothing happens its not unlocking.

Can anyone point me to where im going wrong?

Cheers

Forget it i got it working.

On the SPUTNIK360 probe itself i adjust the resistor setting to 10ohms (3rd switch) and it unlocked.

Cheers

Hi,

maybe it is a dumb question, but I am not sure.

Can I probe and flash the PCB with the removed ribbons and the desoldered tray wires?

Because it would be a little bit complicate to cut wire and probe, if the ribbons and wires are on.

Thanx! :)

You misunderstand me :)
I am not affraid of the damage of them,
I just can't reach it , if they are in position, the PCB board is face down.
BUT, if I can "plug off"all the wires and ribbons, I can turn it up and after that an easy cake.

So, my question is, is there any relevance, that the tray wires and ribbons "on" or "off" on the PCB board during the flash process?
