hi well ive decided to re-burn some of my old backups on verbs some of these when run through abgx show ssv1 as long as the xex is the same can i patch with any of the ssv2 combos listed on abgx

abgx360 should patch it automatically

or you could re-rip your originals with an 0800 drive and it will rip it correctly with ssv2

then theres mousepatcher works well to auto patch ssv2 also.

I think you choose level 3 patching.

When did you last rip a game?

i used to give my m8 my originals to backup for me but im flashing a spare drive to 0800 to start learning to do them my self i have settings on level 3 but if i chose any of the ssv2 combos to manually patch my ssv1 backup would this be fine ???

the xex id has to match or it wont work AFAIK

as i said before, mousepatcher automatically searches the abgx db, downloads and patches the game for you in less than 5 seconds, great wee tool!

yes, but instead of having to troll through the DB manually matching codes (tedious), try mousepatcher, does all the hard work for you. in literally seconds

thanks i always match the xex to the ss and dmi combos i will give mouse patcher a go and while im on the subject i know wave 3+ should be ssv2 does this mean anything below wave 3 has to be ssv1 ?? sorry for all the questions

ssv1 means the game was ripped with a kreon. there might not even be a ssv2 for any game on the db if the verified copy was done with a kreon.

only way to get a ssv2 for an older game is to rip it yourself with a 0800 drive.
