start-up video problems..

when I start up the box the blue led comes on but the screen looks as if the video is set for HD and not having an HD tv so the screen is slanted and cut into 3.. i can see the menu in the background but its illegible so i cant tell what im doing.. can anyone help?

also when i start up with the chip off it works normal, blue and purple have that wierd video....

no i never got the chance to, my first time starting up after installation it was doing this..

you didn't switch the settings for ntsc to pal or vice versa did you?

where would that setting be? i used the tutorial from the team and never changed anything.. that may be what it is since the way it appears on screen.

plus remember that i cant see a friggin thing.. i searched the forums and all i found that could of helped was for the 1959 bios and going down 4 times, hit a, down 1,hit a, down 1, hit a, and restart but unfortunatly when i go down 4 times to the last setting and hit a it tries to read the cd and goes back to the original meu.. i really wish i could just read the menu :(
