Starting Default Dash with Game in DVD

Is there anyway to start the default dashboard instead of going into the game when the game is in the tray? The current workaround is to go into the X3 menu, then reboot to dash. But I was hoping there was a special button combo at the flubber that does this directly.

Which firmware should I use?

Hi guys,
I've heard of problems with the LT firmware and 74850 drives.

yeah that's just a bad laser. use LT

if you are worried about your laser, just unplug its ribbon during the flashing process

it doens't hurt the drive and it makes you feel safe deep down inside
