I have a switch that is 7.0 that I share with my kids. I wanted to play NES/SNES games, etc. through retro arch. In order to do this I bought a new switch (which fortunately is an older S/N so I'm set there.) I've ordered an SX Pro which will arrive sometime this week. Currently I'm at 4.1 with the new Switch. I plan on doing the following, but was wondering what stupidity I have planned that I should avoid.
The switch has no Nintendo account. It is in airplane mode and never has been added to a network. As I said it is on 4.1. It is in airplane mode, but turned off auto updates just in case.
I planned on using one of the Pokemon games, which should (I believe) take me to 6.2.
I will then install sx os.
I have a 256GB card I will format as FAT32.
I will add my games through the back up method (cart in, to SD)
Any screw-ups so far?
I then plan on putting it into stealth mode. At that point I will add to my network and take game updates.
Thoughts?
