Alright. Im getting my glitch chip in a few days, isnt a coolrunner but I posted here because I think someone would mind getting their post count up. Basically, Im gonna be RGHing my falcon. (ive killed a few boards before, and I'm pretty confident.) Can anyone point me to the most up to date nand dumping/image making tools for me? Anyways, I was practicing on a dead board, and found it much easier to tin a resistor and solder it, than a wire. Is it alright to use 3.3k 0hm resistors for the smaller points, like the two right under the cpu? naturally, I could probably just clip off the metal rod, but would like to use resistors, as theyre longer. Also, should I solder the chip to the board before or after I write the ecc file.?

Texas!!
Here's a good up to date guide.

Order doesn't matter for writing ecc file. But as martin c says in this, you should solder the chip and dump the nand before you write anything to the console. Then turn it on and make sure it works that way you can be sure your soldering is good for the chip. And you're sure you have a good dump (Check with 360 Flash Dump Tool).
