Starting over - v1.6B - a few questions

I currently have a v1.6 that is just being a pain and I believe it is due to installation error. It works, but it is hit and miss.

I have decided to start over from scratch and purchase a new Xbox, since I have an extra X3. My question is, if I find that the new Xbox is a v1.6B, is there going to be any issues (aside from installation issues) with the X3 working on the v1.6B? The two X3 chips that I have are already flashed with BIOS 1959, and I believe from what I have read that there was an issue with v1.6B boxes not flashing correctly. Is this an issue if the chip I have is already flashed?

Will there be any issue at all with a v1.6B?

I dont want to sound like a complete dumbass.. but how exactly do I flash the new flashbios to the chip? What settings on the front switch?

I am guessing it is probably the same as the bios flash.. but I just want to be 100% sure I do it correctly..
