LITEON DG-16D2S Starting point for a noob : waiting for connectivity KIT V3 CK3 + CK3 probe V3

Hello All !
I beg your pardon in anticipation : maybe the information i am asking for are already somewhere in the forum. But my poor english and low tech level push to ask a starting point in order to find quickly the information i need.

I am waiting to receive a connectivity kit and a probe V3 ;) to retrieve my dvd key and flash a new one (an LT + or 3.0). I have alredy checked my Liteon and is DG-16D2S FW 74850C. Connecting it with SATA and reading the device with jungleflasher the FW is in v. 0245 (or something like that...i disconnected it, but if needed i can reconnect and retrieve the info). Could i flash it in the usual way i retrieved (dvd key extract with probe and flash with LT+) ? If not what will be the right way ?

Please could you kindly indicate me a thread in the forum where i can find the procedure (and which kind of FW i have to use) to flash with following devices :

CONNECTIVITY KIT V3 CK3 - " I "PRO + CK3 PROBE V3

I would suggest you read the PDF that comes with jungle flasher. It's very informative and lists all the exact steps for any drive you want to do.

Ok. I have red the documentation. Only last (i hope) and further question :

-> Model retrieved through JF is Lite-On 74850 (exact label on device is 74850C)

-> FW retrieved through JF is 0251 (?? maybe written after last dashboard update)

Taking into account that FW above is not traced inside the documentation, could i proceed with the procedure described or i need different info to go on ?

You go by what JungleFlasher tells you, not the drive label.

If JungleFlasher says 0251, follow the flowchart for 0251.

Mmm....could be a good idea. Unfortunately no mention to 0251 i have been found on the guide. O ther suggestion? I would like to avoid time wasting or issue when i will retrieve dvd key.

if u have to ask a question like that that i would look into doing more research,ur drive should be reading in JF 0251 if not i would think about updating it if your planning on using LT+ v3

Hi all again...kit received, dvd key extracted, but now the device is not recognised anymore from JF and even if powered on by CK3i no eject it is possible !
What i have to do ? Please help me...

How can u expect help with no proper info as to what u have done as above wheres your jf log
