LITEON 74850 status 0x72 but hit outro and get no drive detected

help please. i have just gone to flash a liteon 74850 (well PhatKey before doing dash update) and it failed then said no drive detected. so i restarted jungle flasher and it still says no drive detected. i hit liteon erase to get into vendor mode and then hit outro and it still says no drive detected. i have since cut the traces to do the mra hack but now i just get status 0x80. what have i done to this drive. never had so much trouble with a liteon in my years of modding. heres the weirdest part. when i put the drive back in the console the centre light flashes as if no drive is installed. wont eject in console or with ck3 either. i have a very pissed off customer and would appreciate any help.

im using x360usb and a ck3 pro with a probe 2 and pmt conversion cable. tried on xp system and on vista system. same issues on both

I've never used either. Are there tuts on here? And should I repair the mra traces

also, i didnt get the drive key yet. im setting myself up with iprep now. is there anyone who could give me a bit of direction on how to get the key using a probe v2 and iprep 12.2.1. never used iprep before so its a bit of a learning curve.

If you havent got the dvd drive-key & you've press Lite-on Erase, then i'm afraid you've got an expensive dvd player ! :facepalm:

Because you used liteon erase you have erased the firmware from the drive. If you have not already got the key then youre pretty much screwed for the easy option.

Youre now going to have to reset glitch the console to get Xell on and get the key that way and its a harder procedure sorry.

next move would be to perform the rgh to retrieve dvdkey if erased dvdkey m8

Do I need any extra chips to do the rgh or can it be done with just wires like the jtag

You need something to dump your nand like the nandX and you will need a rgh board, like the cool runner which TX will be releasing some time in the near future.

I'm gonna try that now. Just bought a xilinx coolrunner II from eBay just in case. plus I have a fat here I wanted to rgh anyway.
