Hi. One day ago i made sputnik hack for my frien. I did it a lot of times so everything was normal for me.

From beggining: I cuted trace, probe it, spi was unlocked, write cfw, spi locked, connect trace, put the drive into xbox.

verivication was succesful and drive was vissible in jf so I tought everything is ok.

But now, if I try eject this in xbox, console is rebooting itself. So i put the drive into pc again, and there is two problems:
- If i cut trace again, drive acts like dead. No tray eject (iirc should work without it. So it's strange).
-If i connect trace again drive look fine but can't be detected in jf. It says no drive and if i try vendor it, there is still 0x80 status. I get another drive, this one is detectable, so my pc setup is ok.

Anyone had smillar problem? I checked fuses everything is ok. I can find 3.3 and 1.2V so regulators are fine. Where could be problem? Sounds like dead MT chip for me...

This is why I use the sputnik probe switch that costs $2.00 (even less in bulk).

Test continuity at the cut, there is likely some solder bridge there or something. If you refuse to use the probe switch then at least use a wire so you are not constantly bridging over that trace cut.
