stby_clk Quick question about alternate point

All solder has been removed from the R4B24 original solder point for stby_clk. Does this have to be repaired if I'm going to use the alternate point on the bottom of the board? I've seen posts saying yes, but Ubergeek's sticky says "if you really want to" I don't wanna do any extra work unless necessary.

Post pics of the damage. You will have to repair if the pad on the via to the top side of the board has been damaged. No way around that. That is the connection to the CPU from the bottom side.

You said STBY_CLK and I heard CPU_PLL_BYPASS lol. This is an easy fix. A lot easier than what I was thinking. Just look at Ubergeeks thread. Your console wont even boot with the damage you have done. All you need to do to fix it is run a wire from the resistor to a point on the trace beyond the break.
