STBY_CLK slim need repair in london

damaged a slim on the STBY_CLK while using QSB

eject and power buttons make sounds but front leds and fan do not run

in east london, can anyone repair this for me? i can post if required

best i could do, the soldering looks awful but this was when i was trying to figure out wtf was wrong. hope there is still hope for a fix

have you noticed the bridged solder around the J2C3 area. have you powered the console on with it like that ? it seems the trace is still there for the STBY_CLK point and can easily be done yourself

oh sorry, that happened after i took the QSB off. ill remove the solder but i dont think any difference as it was having the same problem with the QSB correctly installed. be back in 5

also swap around that area with a cotton bud or two, clean it up a bit so theres no flux left over. You'll be able to see whats wrong alot easier

the QSB doesnt short those two points, its not ment to short anything, it just makes it easier to work with once installed. Put a little flux down, put your iron to the solder shorting them, let it melt back to the holes seperatly.

Naaa no need to clean it with anything, you could use some sort of rubbing alcohol but that doesnt matter too bad.

to repair that trace is a 2 minute job

if you can help that would be great, try to clean the area with a cotton bud but have no alcohol and much coming off

Get someone to fix as originally asked - right now it's an easy fix (either trace repair or trace and resistor replacement).
a simple trace repair will work and a 2 minute job :D
