i over heated the resister next the the STDNB_CLK point (orange cable) now xbox is dead ? what should i do at this point

Did you check it with a multimeter? It should read 30 or 33 ohms. OR did it completely fall off?

not to sound like ass but did you plug the psu in all the way sound times that would happen to me
The resistor is a 33 ohm and is really easy to blow by getting it to hot. I've replaced a few myself do to that very reason. It is possible to get a non SMD resistor and use it but it might be tricky to solder it in place if you don't have much soldering experience. Post some pics as stated above but you might want to have someone fix it for you.
