I have the x3 chip installed - BIOS Flashed - EvolutionX dash - Thompson DVD-ROM in xbox - xbox ver. 1.0 - and I am using a Phillips DVD burner with Maxell DVD+R discs. I have the latest version of craxtion and nero. Whenever I use craxtion to create an xiso it burns fine, but the xbox (with mod-chip on) does not recognize the disc is in the drive. Please can someone help me out?

Tthe DVD+R's work for anything else however. I have backed up DVD movies on the same DVD+r's and can play them on the xbox. Does it make that much of a difference for xbox games. Thanks for any feedback.
Dont use Maxell disc's ..Apparently they are sh*te..... Get some Ritek ones as they use brilliant dye.
Jtag, Flashing, CPU Key, DVD-Rom Key
I've got a few questions for all of you, if you can help me out hopefully.
K, so here's the situation:
I've got 2 xbox 360 mobo's both RROD
One operational 360 but the Hitachi drive is fried can't get a key off of it.
I've got a spare Samsung M25 drive, it works - I dumped the key/firmware this morning. I saw the LT for the Samsung came out today!!! 8O
Got all my stuff "ready" to do the Jtag so I can dump the CPU key.
360 is Xenon - I think :?: - mfg is 2006 non HDMI
on to the questions!
My Dash version is beyond the jtag requirements but I can still dump the CPU key? I think they say you don't need the 330 OHM contact points.
Can I pull/dump a cpu key from a
RROD 360 with Jtag?
If not - I can use a NAND dumper/flasher? and wich chip? Im thinking about getting on anyway.
The Sammy drive should work in the console once its flashed even though
it originally came with a hitachi? I mean it works when I connect it to the the console un-flashed/non matching keys.
Can you flash keys from different drives?
I think thats it for now :?:

if you dash is 2.0.8xxx or higher then you cannot pull the cpu key from it.
because the efuses are burned and there is no way to read the cpukey.
and if it was a jtaggable dash then you still have the do the 2 diodes and short pin 4 to 7(no resistor nessecary on xenons), to be able to read the
cpukey.
as for your fried hitachi drive i can pull the dvdkey from the motherboard
you would have to mail it to me and i have the equipment to take the
flash chip off the board and dump it to the computer.

So Everybody knows that the CPU key / key vault is on the NAND but you can't get it because its encrypted, so what decrypts the NAND? another chip? I'm hearing its something to do with the CPU?

Dude.... You cant jtag it.. end of.
Just get someone to remove the chip on the hitachi mobo and put it into one of those things ( In know nothing bout this i just seen pictures) then get them to read the firmware/key. once u got that you go and get another drive and spoof it as ur broken one.
Plus even if it was jtagable ude have to fix the rrod first before u did anything to get the keys. Atleast i think thts wat u do.
