Can you replicate the switch from DemoN to XBOX and boot stock every time?

eg - plug in PSU, so DemoN LEDs should be on.

Then:
Try to boot. Power off.
Press button so LEDs are off. Try to boot again. Power off.
Press button so LEDs are on. Try to boot again. Power off.
etc - do this 5 times and without pulling the PSU, do you get the same result each time?
Yes, this will successfully boot stock every time. (obviously not Xell since rjtag is out.) Also, once it has booted stock, if I power down and power back up on stock, it boots fine.

Interesting note as well. I still have Xell on the Demon, and when I switch back to the Demon, after successfully booting stock, it doesnt error out with the 2 red lights, just sits there with the green light on.

If I get it to boot Stock, and I remove the power, When I try to boot straight to Stock again, after plugging back in and selecting Xbox360, its a 0020 error again. So I switch back to Demon, boot, power off, quickly switch NANDs and power back on, boots stock.

Yes. Once I plug power back into the 360, it will only boot stock if I first boot the Demon, then switch to the Xbox360 side and boot.

Power off, plugged in. With leds on 3.03vDC. Press switch and there is a slight drop, then quick recovery to 3.03vDC, leds off.

After reading up some on the SBR point, I'm guessing the small dip in voltage I see when I press the NAND switch button is supposed to be a ground pulse to reset the SMC?

After looking over a Xbox Hardware Debug guide and Power Debug guide, I'm wondering if a longer ground pulse (assuming thats what it is) would ensure a proper reset of the SMC. Shall I try to manually ground the SBR with a wire connected to ground? As in, plug in power plug, switch NAND to Xbox360, tap SBR with grounded wire for less than a second, try to boot stock?

Obviously I'm not gonna try throwing a ground around without first being advised to.

There is definately a drop in voltage. For a very brief instant the voltage drops when the switch is pressed. Doing it over and over again, the lowest my meter displays is 2.17v before it bounces back to 3.03v. It's really quick, almost undetectable.

Using both a CenTech and my Fluke meter, I can see no actual grounding occur when I press the button while checking resistance. The only thing shows any change is the slight drop in voltage.

I tried to manually reset the smc with a grounded wire to the SBR, short tap. Still didn't help. I applied the signal both before and after switching the NAND. Didn't help. Only way to get stock to boot is the quick switch as mentioned above.

What's next?

Keep in mind I have 3 other Xboxes I can play, so I won't bail on it until we know what's going on. I see in other threads with this problem people give up too soon. As stated above I have another Demon we can try at some point as well, if needed.

Tonight I re-attached the RJTAG and switched to Aud_Clamp. Flashed Demon with 16537 and Xbox360 is staying at 16203. Makes it even easier to see if NANDS are switching since the dashes look different.

I don't know what's left to check. I'll wait for more suggestions though.
