Lol. Nice tips guys. Especially about CPU_RST going through the board but I think we might have it now. We bridged the cap point and boots are < 10 seconds each now.

Of course I say the time is good now but I'm noticing stalling during boot where it just stops for a second or two and it does it with a drive attached on stock (boot fine without drive on stock). Ideas?

Have you rerouted your wires yet? It looks in your pic that the CPU_RST is fairly close to the "area to avoid"

Not since we redid the PLL_BYPASS wire. Here is a pic on the current arrangement.

The yellow coming up with the blue and green wires is for POST_OUT1. The yellow coming out of it's own hole by itself is for the STBY_CLK alternate point.

How do you suggest changing it? Do you want me to separate PLL_BYPASS and CPU_RST?

I had freezing issues with my falcon and it was either down to the PLL_BYPASS and CPU_RST being to close to each other or the CPU_RST being to close to the coils.

I would run the CPU_RST along the topside of the board along the edge by where the fan sits and solder it to the same point but on the topside of the board rather than the bottom. Similar to my picture but soldered on topside.

Hey. Thanks guys for all the assist with this. I finally got it going and it is working fine from what I can tell. I'm confident enough to move past Xell only and finally get my nand flashed in Xell. No more stalling in Xell and consistent boots less than 10 seconds each. Thanks to all that helped. Specifically blakey8, DayvG, JayDee, Martin C.

P.S. - Xell is finicky when I tried to download the stuff via a switch or cross over and no dhcp. I had to hook it up to a router and I was able to download fine. Don't know why...

Your welcome buddy. I always hook up to a router and download fuses etc that way. Less chance of error. No idea why it's not as stable over x over. Glad it's working though and your happy :D
