Description of problem:

Stock nand gives Rrod at intro screen

Hi,
Got a situation here. Yesterday I wanted to R-Jtag a Falcon. I followed the next steps;

1: Read nand – OK
2: Ticked R-Jtag – Audio clamps
3: Create Xell and write to nand

After this I connected the Qsb post and Jtag Alt V2, wires and was ready to go. When I started up to get Xell default at switch 7 for a falcon I get on everything switch 2 red rings. Also tried 1.2v and other voltages with the same result.
At the end I desoldered everything and wrote back my original nand, when booting in stock I get the same 2 red rings of death.
After 5 seconds the intro appears and after this directly I get the 2 rings.
Ofcourse I checked all solder points for shorts, cleaned up at all solder point but still no result after booting up again.
I included pictures of J-Runner and all solder points, help would be appreciated.

I included the picture of the rrod, 2 light on the left.
Have you tried changing the thermal paste? 2rlod is usually overheating and since you have handled the motherboard you might have cracked the old thermal paste.

2RROD is an overheat issue. Like antalPromille said, try changing you heat sink paste first just to rule it out, your heats inks might not even be connecting to the CPU/GPU dies which would throw emmediate 2RrOD. Are u using original x-clamps?

Edit; Martin C beat me to it :smile:

Thanks guys, cleaned the heatsinks and put fresh pasta on it and working. Thanks for the usefull lesson.
its not the first time that happened, and if you wouldnt have tampered with the xbox it probably would have worked longer :)
