FIXED Stock Xbox Flashed but xgd3's not working?

Hi there
I flased a stock 0401 drive using Kamakaze hack, and followed JF guide to get it to LT+3.0. After putting the xbox together, my xgd2 games work and install 100%. However, the xdg3 games fail to install and give "unrecognized disc error" even though the game picture comes up in the dashboard. Sames goes for original xgd3 games. I can confirm 100% that the backups are fine as they have been tested in other xbox's (phat and slim) with zero problems. I used MKM-003 only...

I am thinking something went wrong when flashing in JF. Here is the log, please can someone have a look and let me know (Please note my xgd2 games work perfect and install 100% - it is only the xgd3 games).

I can see this below in the log way down: "Drive key @ n/a FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF" - Did something go wrong here???? As I followed JF tut to the tee, and firmware LT+3.0 was autoloaded succesfully by JF.....

Any help/suggestions or users that know what the issue is, would be most appreciated.

You will have to reburn the discs. Don't forget to pass the images through abx360 before burning so it updates the topology.

The discs r fine guaranteed. They have alrdy been abgx'd with topology data n burned with ihas324 drive. The games work 100% on three other LT+3.0 consoles (2 slims and 1 phat)

Could it be a bad flash perhaps?

How do i know if bad flash? And what do i do to reflash it?

i wouldnt say it was a bad flash as xgd2 games are working, id put it down to being a media problem or the way the games are burnt.. are they burnt with a ihas or similar working burner that allows use of burner max firmware ?

Thanks for replis. Will flash it back to stock and test the original xgd3 out. Question when flashing back to stock i load my orig Dummy.bin as source and the OFW as target right?

I am on dash 14719. Dash was updated before flashing although console was never flashed before.
Backups made with Liteon drive using 0800 firmware from orig disc.

Ok so i flashed back to stock. Tested xgd3 oriig Skyrim and Arkham City. Worked perfect. Installed 100%.

Then reflashed back to LT3.0, tested and the orig xgd3 games nor backups dont want to install??

Any thoughts?
When flashing from stock to LT3.0 i left JF autoload the 0401v3.0.bin file. Should I manually do this and spoof or does it not make a difference?

I am stumped. Please help

If your original discs play ok then it sounds like your laser is on its way out. You could try the pout trick "documented if you use search" or buy a replacement laser which aren't expensive (again tutorials and suppliers available using search)

It says quite clearly that originals aren't working with this firmware. Also, the POUT trick is nothing to do with the laser.

Might be a bad 0401 v3.0.bin file, try downloading it again and seeing, because it seems like your doing the flash properly, especially since being able to flash back to stock and all worked well.

Yes thats why i am stumped. Origs only dont work when LT3.0 is loaded. But if put back to stock works perfect and installs perfect. Which tells me the laser is fine

Could it really be the flash that would cause this? It is really really strange and frustrating. Sigh

Okie dokie. Gonna get me a new bin file now and test it. No harm in trying......Fingers crossed. Will report back. Thanks ppl

I would have agreed with bad bin file but I'm positive JF runs a CRC check on all firmware files and throws an error if it doesn't match.

Well i'm out of options so gonna give it a bash. Anyone know a reliable site to download the firmware pack? hesitant to just google > click and download
