Strange noise

hey people... i have flashed my samsung/toshiba MS28 drive with ixtreme 1.2 and everything is fine but the only problem is that whenever im playing a game thrs this strange sound which comes frm my xbox360 drive... its like the dvd is touching something in the drive which is causin tht strange KIRK KIRK noise... wht could be the problem... is it the firmware or something else... is it fine??? my games r working fine...

my console is placed horizontally n perfectly flat...

It's the laser "clicking" , moving up and down trying to read the disc. Usually happens with poor media, scratched discs, or bad lasers. You can try using the slow read firmware and see if that helps.

so is it harmful "laser clicking"... will it coz any damage to my console or my discs... plzzz inform me so tht i can upgrade to the slower version i.e. 1.2b
