Strange problem with network card

I just did an XBox v1.6 w/ Xecuter 2.6ce for a friend with the M8 BIOS on there. Now for some strange reason, the network card does not want to work AT ALL. Does anybody have any ideas as to what could be causing the problem?

First off, get rid of M8, and use 5035. It is the latest Xecuter bios, and has many more features and is much more stable than M8. As for the LAN port, did it work before the mod? Are you sure you soldered to the right point for the LAN LED?

Ok... I switched from the M8 BIOS to Xecuter 5035. So far everything is fine, but I still have no connectivity on the LAN port. I went as far as disconecting the LAN LED all together - but I still get nothing. If I assign a static-ip, nothing... DHCP.... nothing. All Avalaunch says is "Err X" and EvoX shows 0.0.0.0.

Anything else I can try?

Yes I changed the IP in the network settings... I said that in my previous post. Even the Microsoft dash won't see anything either. I tried grabbing an IP with the XBOX, assign one statically, nothing. Anybody else have any ideas?
