Hello everyone,

It is my first time using SXPro Dongle and hacking my switch. I have the following question - I've been able to run EMUNAND - however the boot time takes quite long (maybe 1 minute) and the screen goes black after the nintendo switch logo, then flickers slightly, and then if I press the power button it turns on normally to the lock screen and I can access my CFW album. However, I'm wondering if this has anything to do with a faulty MicroSD card? I'm using a Sandisk Ultra 128 GB and am now waiting for an Extreme 128GB to see if that helps. Also, creating the NAND with the Ultra took roughly 3 hours.

Outside of the very slow boot, whenever I put on any XCI, the album crashes which I think could also be due to slow speeds? Some of these XCI's friends have tested and they work fine on theirs.

I would trust your instincts... sounds like you have a bad or defective micro sd card... I would definitely try again with your new and different micro sd card.

Save all your info on card (boot.dat license.dat etc) then format using the switch. Also try guiformat (it is FAT32) I have had two of the exact same brand and style of card have different read/write speeds. Size is important but read/write speeds are also. I use EXFAT on 3 different systems with 256gb Wallyworld specials and have no issues. Some worry EXFAT will corrupt but I have been using EXFAT since the beginning with only one issue that was casued by early cheat homebrew. The XCI crash of known working file points to SD card issue either with transfer corruption (try different computer ) or the write to card which may be fixable by formatting.
