RGH Strange Xenon Issue

I had a Xenon I was attempting to RGH to obtain the drive keys, I've had it running for about 24 hours.

I decided to turn her off and try something new, so I flashed back to stock and stuck in my 14699 update usb stick. It went through the update and rebooted, but stayed at the splash screen. Now when I boot I get E18 (0102 secondary).

I find this extremely odd that I all of the sudden have E18. Any ideas? It booted fine to stock for me to update to 14699 in the first place, so I doubt it's a cold solder joint issue.

Also, I was not able to boot xell succesfully yet so I'm without keys.

0102 needs a reflow. Its a xenon after all

Why in the name of god did you update from 6717 to 14699 for RGH???

You could've JTAG'ed it which is a HELL of a lot easier, even if you were just getting the DVD key! :facepalm:

Anyway, as Joe said, 0102 is a reflow job... typically a GPU issue. They like to sneak up on you randomly.

you do realize you just updated that past the jtag dash version just so you could try a less effective key recovery. smart. that would have booted xell instantly with a jtag install rather than rgh. why would you do that?

The destruction of a JTAG always makes me cry a little... even now with the RGH available (though not really an option for Xenon's).

Never got into jtags, now I know. Oops.

Had you looked a little closer, you would have seen that the 'Jtag' bullet in J-Runner was active in your 6683 NAND.

Any idea why it went RROD on me? seems oddly coincidental.

It just happens on Xenon's.

I had a Xenon RRoD just by taking off the x-clamps.

Sadly, xenons are never "good as new".
