Streaming MKV to Jtagged 360?

Hi i am trying to stream mkv movies to my jtag through windows media centre, i have installed the DIVX on my pc and can see the movies in media center but when i try to play them it keeps saying i need a media update and need to log onto live to download it

Any help appreciated

Copy the divx media update from a live console and it should accept it.

The only problem is xvid stream perfect but i cannot get MKV to stream at all

Not all MKV works natively on the 360. Check the Media compatibility page on xbox.com for more info: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/945416

You may need to re-encode what you have in order to make it work.
