Hey guys, I seek wise second opinions. I've been modding xboxes for awhile and can usually get myself out of a bind but I've come across a snag.

Last night I took apart my box to install a Xerc2 (http://sickmods.net/index.php?site=XERC2-Install) irmod. No problem, I soldered the connections and powered it up and it worked great. Afterwards I got my Xecuter 2.6+ Lite Solderless (old) and attempted to screw it back down. Well the screw head got stripped out, so I RTFM and used a larger screw to get it in there. Well now the modchip sits on the board lop-sided and I can't get a secure connection...

My question now is this. What do I do in regards to modding my box? Should I:

1. Softmod the box and shelf the old xecuter?
2. Get a new xbox case so the screw isn't stripped out? Also my D0 point is looking a little worn out on my mobo.
3. Get a new xbox to put the chip in?

Or is there some obvious way to fix the modchip that I am overlooking?
