Stubborn Slim

Ok so my slim is booting rarely after installing Coolrunner. Ive looked on this site and found alot of people suggesting CPU_RST could be the issue as my coolrunner does blink green light and yes does fire up but only now and then. S o ive tried different lengths of CPU_RST wire and strange thing is when i alter anything the slim will boot on first power up but then back to square 1.... waiting and waiting. Could this be a prob elsewhere??

Maybe try switching the CR to phat ive heard that works for some people that are having problems with slims.

Use the CPU_RST wire that came with the tx coolrunner(proper length), loop it in a perfect circle, put tape under it completely so nothing touches the board, place a piece of tape to hold it down, , make sure its not running over any coil points. Check your soldering for that cpu rst is perfect...and also try the phat instead of slim connection like suggested above..did you have any bad blocks in your nand? if you did where they remapped?

Also check your ground wire is soldered on good..in fact recheck all your connections. If nothing works try another tx coolrunner..to rule out the txcoolrunner itself.

Ok I've lost it with this slim now and managed to damage POST_OUT1 point so now gonna remove the chip altogether and put back to stock but don't seem to be able to find a repair pic of this point only alternative points to glitch.

The point suggested has been lifted so now if I'm gonna remove the coolrunner surely I have to repair that point? Pic will make no difference as we know what point were talking about. I'm grateful knowing ur only trying to help but I just want to put this back to stock with no red light.

Then don't post a pic so people cant see what's going on and give you the best advice from looking at the damage you cause at the end of the day its you that took it on so its your fail, by spitting out your dummy and saying you want it back to normal is not the way to go buddy the way it works here is help us help you so if your asked for pics post them simple's

Sorry been busy last few days and never got back to sorting slim til today to which i can gladly say was resolved by using another Coolrunner so obviously had a faulty 1 as tried in another console with same issue.

return it to the reseller then as it's faulty.

most are user faults tho.
