Stuck at "Rox My Box"

Hi there

I've tried searching but the results get me nowhere.

I have an xbox (v1.0) and an Xecuter 3 Chip with the X3_3294 and a 80GB Maxtor HD + Thompson DVD drive
When I try to use the xecuter 3 bios It boots and shows the xecuter rox my box then freezes - does nothing else just hangs.
However if I use the Evox Bios and it works fine but thats no good becaue I want to use the xecuter bios because I want to muck around with the proper bios designed for the chip.

I have tried getting the latest bios, I am using the right one (1.0-1.5) and I keep getting nowhere - I try pressing the key combo to get into config but that wont work either.

I would apprecaite some help on getting this going.

I am using the fallowing bank config

Bank 1234 - X3 Bios (Not working)
Bank 5678 - Evox Bios (Working ok)

Boot to evox bios and run x3_erase.xbe (can download from xbins) and it should reset your X3. My guess is you have acccidentally (or on purpose) set a password. At least that is the most common cause recently. If that's not it let me know.

ok i didnt know it would freeze it...so how can i reset my X3 with out having the evox bios.

LOL if you have now written over the evox bios it would have been nice of you to let us know!

If you need to, flash X3 bios that is older than 1959 and it should let you disable the password. then flash back to latest.
